Class Descriptions

MONDAY

Tai Chi Easy NEW Monday at 8:30am
with Sally Rivard -Starting May 6th, 13th, 20th, (NO CLASS 5/27) and June 3rd, 10th, 17th.
Gentle movement, visualization, self massage and breath practices based upon ancient Chinese medicine and philosophy. Discover the health benefits of Qigong and Tai Chi Easy. No prior experience needed; come check it out! It is an hour long relaxing vacation from the 10,000 pecking ducks of our daily life complexity!

Yoga- NEW Monday at 1:00pm
with Sally Rivard- Starting May 6th, 13th, 20th, (NO CLASS 5/27th), June 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and July 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th. Yoga practice for all levels. Poses and sequences to strengthen, and bring about postural awareness for better alignment and balance. You will feel stretched and strengthened as well as restored, rested and re-energized.

Mobility Art: Utilizing Awareness Through Movement®
with Chad Hardin, PT, GCFP- Monday at 2:15pm 
*Resumes April 22nd
These are 45 to 60 minute classes that consist of verbal directions to guide you through a series of movements. The movements are done with minimal effort which helps enhance you sensitivity and awareness of your body. This is intended to help alleviate pain, make movement more pleasurable and promote better self-management. 
$10 per class.


TUESDAY

​​​​​​​Aquatic Strengthening, Stretching, and Balance-Tuesday & Thursday at 9:00am
with Andrea Myrick, PTA
This class is a 45 min aquatic exercise class to help improve overall strength, flexibility, and balance in a warm water therapy pool. Come have fun and move your body!


WEDNESDAY

                             

Yoga- NEW Wednesday at 1:00pm
with Sally Rivard- STARTING JUNE 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th and July 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st. Yoga practice for all levels. Poses and sequences to strengthen, and bring about postural awareness for better alignment and balance. You will feel stretched and strengthened as well as restored, rested and re-energized.

Gentle Creative Flow Yoga- Wednesdays at 4:45pm
with Danielle LaPlante, BS, RYT200. 
Beginner to Intermediate creative Vinyasa flow yoga that connects movement to breath through a flowing sequence of poses. The postures help to improve overall health and wellbeing. Danielle uses verbal cues, modifications, and hands on assists as needed for postural alignment which encourages you to listen to your body and not force yourself into the poses.


THURSDAY

FRIDAY

Expressive Flow Yoga- Friday at 9:00am
with Danielle LaPlante, BS, RYT200. 
In this Vinyasa flow class for all levels, restore balance and overall wellbeing through mindful movement /postures that have a balance between expressive movement flow, breath work, and postural alignment.
